DOGS BREED

A dog breed is a type of dog that that is breed by humans for
their purpose like herding , hunting and guarding. While dif-
ferentiating breed from type, the rule is that a breed always HARIKRISHNAN
breeds true.

Dogs are mammals on earth which has artificial selection of
producing around 450 globally recognised dog breeds. These breeds have distinct traits like
body size , skull shape , tail phenotype , for type and coat colour. They have behavioural traits
which includes guarding , herding , hunting and personality have another traits such as hyper-
social behaviour, boldness and aggression / anger. Most of the breeds were derived from small
number of founders within the last 200 years. Which in turn resulted dogs as most abundant
carnivore species .
-> Dog breed will produce physical traits , movement
that have been developing over decades of selective breed-
ing. There are Kennet clubs and breed registries for main-
taining and publishing breed standard which is a written
description of specimens of the breed. The uses of term
breed while being referred to dogs have pure breeds, cross
breed , mixed breeds and natu- ral breeds etc.
-> The origins of dogs back thousands of years , have
been evolved as decomesticated descendants of the wolf.
-> In the 19th century the first dog founded in pruor to
the crictorera, there are specific types of dogs that were de-
fined by there function.
-> The kennel club in the UK was founded in 1873.
-> The first dog breed name was sled dog .
It was found in 1833 and it was useful in that time. Egyptian used in these dogs.
