Keeps everyone inside home
By reciting the slogans
Keep social distance
Wash your hands once a while
It was boring at first but
Later it becomes habit
Loving parents, naughty siblings
Wakeup in the morning, listening
Chirping sounds of the birds.
Helping mom, helps in gardening
Friendly talk within the family
Exploring the hidden talents
Exploring the new world.
Finally, thanking lockdown for
Making whole world to keep in
Touch with their loved ones.
But, oh God! Please save us
Save us from the pandemic
Make the whole world
As beautiful as it was before.

Is hidden at the corner of my heart
The hope perches my soul and tell
Things which can't be told through words

Once we were happy
Not afraid to face the harsh reality
But today we are ready to challenge
